The classic black and white carry all has short clutch style straps if you want to sport it like a purse and when desired nice long straps to hang over the back of your stroller or to wear like a messenger.
The giraffe print(with burnt orange lining) looks very sexy slung over a shoulder or again the straps are versatile enough to use on the back of a stroller or messenger style. Both come with matching change pads, plastic pouches and insulated bottle bags to keep milk cool for the little ones.

Simple, sweet, beautifully handcrafted.............all words that come to mind when looking at the gorgeous items from Dagmar Daley. The company is located in San Francisco where all of their items are produced by a small team of talented seamstresses.
Unisex in color and style we have 100% cotton handknitted cardigans, fitted henley t-shirts with shell buttons, baby josephine sweaters starting at newborn sizes and a piece just for the most angelic of baby girls is the pearl pink baby dress in a soft sateen finish.
We have many items for summertime in stock now but with our confused weather lately a cozy knitted cardigan, fitted henley, denim jeans on the bottom and a cozy pair of uggs your toddling little ones will be prepared for snow, rain and hopefully some sunshine too!

eggs for inspiration..........

I am sitting at my desk snuggling Koby as I type. (I think a major growth spurt is happening as he is unusually tired..........) and I am staring at this glass jar filled with beautiful robins egg soaps. The store windows are displayed with them hanging in nests and jars on the desk are filled to the brims. I am ready to change things up for I can feel summer coming............I am thinking hanging parasols in white rice paper but other than that I am stuck! I am thinking butterflies, dragonflys, bumblebees, flower petals................not quite sure what or how but I need some help. Whatever floats your Petit Bateau

So we think that line is pretty cute! And so is the latest collection from Petit Bateau! Sweet florals with lace edging and pink little floral bursts for the girls (onesies with skirts are irresistible for the hot summer months ahead!), these great gift boxes for new moms with baby basics (in pink and blue of course!), and these:

This took me at least a week to realize (although Sarah being quite smart figured it out pretty quickly!) but the size you choose - like this one in the photo for 6 months - is the number on the front! There's also a 3 and a 12 and an 18.... really puts me to shame :)

Adorable on every baby! And I can vouch for the durability and fit of these great French basics. They wash beautifully and are made of the softest cottons and look great the entire time your babies wear them. Unlike the 'pack model' for onesies I have never found a snap pulls off or a seam skews (and i'm picky about these things!).

Kobys 5th birthday

I am happy to say that Kobys birthday was an absolute great day. Holding the party at the restaurant Timbre was perfect.(check out www.timbrerestaurant.com as it is a great place to go relax, listen to live music, and eat delicious food and they are kid friendly too.....you have to try their nutella banana french toast, it is my favorite)
The kids entertained themselves by being the silly little monkeys that they are;they ate, opened presents and had a whole lot of transformer cake.
Here is Koby sipping his apple juice at the end of the party visiting with his uncle Ryan and yes, those are batman pyjamas that he is wearing. He insisted on wearing them over his clothes and he looked so darn cute how could I say no!

Koby turns 5 years old!!!!!!!!!!!

What every parent asks themselves...........where has the time gone???? My once baby boy is turning 5 in two days. No longer do I have a little baby or a crazy toddler but a sweet, loving, fun, kind beautiful little guy who I can happily say still loves to kiss and cuddle and go on dinner dates with his mom! His sensitive spirit is truly inspiring.
We are having his birthday party this weekend in a friends restaurant on Commercial Drive and we are lucky enough to have the restaurant to ourselves but I am trying to come up with some fun ideas to keep the kids busy...........any ideas out there please drop me a note.

Glass bottles are the best

I'm surviving on one glass bottle for my 9-month old and eagerly awaiting the arrival of our new glass bottles! So - as you can imagine I'm at the sink 4 or 5 times a day washing it - but it will be worth the wait! Here's what I love about the new bottles:

- Safe and cleaner than plastic
- They're cute! With no annoying characters!
- Microwave safe and dishwasher friendly
- Hypo allergenic
- The silicone sleeve keeps the outside of the bottle cool

The 9lb SilverCross Micro spells Freedom!

I love my Bugaboo stroller, my babysitter does not. Part of the problem is it won't fit in her Mini Cooper. So - I brought home a pink Silver Cross Micro - and they were off to the races!

It's pretty amazing - she can hold Addie in one arm, fold it up, and pop it on over her shoulder with the strap. Seems simple, but in the world of babies, this spells Freedom! So much easier to hop out of the car and bring her along for a quick errand.

Sarah recommended it and the motion is officially seconded! Great for babies, and moms, and babysitters :)
